CREATING HDD PARTITION Step 1: Right click on my computer and select manage Step 2 : click disk management on the left side pane. Step 3: Right click on the dri ve from which you have to shrink volume and select shrink volume . Step 4: Enter the amount of volume to get shrink and click shrink . Note: A black block is created indicates the unallocated volume(shrinked volume). Step 5: Right click on the unallocated volume and select new simple volume. Step 6: select the drive letter, size, format and click finish.
